NTNU Technology Transfer has the main responsibility for commercializing all the technology originating from the Central Norway Regional Health Authority (Helse MidtNorge RHF).

The Central Norway Regional Health Authority is responsible for hospitals and specialist health services in the three central Norwegian counties. The health region has approximately 15,000 employees. Specialist health services include the public hospitals, psychiatric institutions, ambulance service, emergency service, hospital pharmacies, laboratories and substance abuse institutions.

The Central Norway Regional Health Authority provides treatment at five health enterprises:

  • St.Olavs Hospital
  • Helse Møre og Romsdal
  • Helse Nord-Trøndelag
  • Rusbehandling Midt-Norge
  • Helse Sunnmøre
  • Ambulanseforetaket HF

It additionally operates Sykehusapotekene, Ambulanse Midt-Norge, Helsebygg and Hemit.
