Industrial solutions for soft and hard demodulation of QAM symbols have computational requirements that depends on the complexity (M). As the technology moves into higher-order QAM domains such as 16K-, 64K- and even 256K-QAM, computational requirements may lead to challenges in terms of decoding time and energy consumption. Our technology has solved this issue and requires only a constant number of computations, independent of complexity (M).
