Lowering age of Cerebral Palsy detection and intervention

Unique AI-based medical tool for prediction of Cerebral Palsy in infants at 2-5 months age. The novel method will lower the age when CP is diagnosed, helping young infants to benefit from targeted intervention and treatment at an age when brain plasticity is still high.

Time consuming clinical evaluations are substituted with a fully-automated tool which records short videos of child’s spontaneous movement patterns. The videos are analyzed by software which is combining knowledge from General Movement Assessment (GMA) with machine learning, building on a big database of 1000 infant videos from 10 years of research and international collaboration.
