M-HUD streamlines minimal essential information directly into the navigator’s line of sight, allowing a “classic” optical navigation style, improving situational awareness without overloading the user with information. In its simplest form, it consists of a LED strip directly above the windows at the bridge, using lights to indicate the position and movement of objects.
