Head-mounted 2-photon microscope for brain imaging

Technology
Mini10k is a next-generation miniaturized two-photon microscope with a 1mm field of view, designed to be carried on the head of a freely moving animal during live experiments. It enables simultaneous imaging of approximately 20 times more neurons than existing miniscopes, covering large, interconnected brain regions in a single session.

Market
In-vivo neural imaging in freely moving animals is a rapidly growing segment of the neuroscience research tools market, driven by increasing demand for large-scale circuit-level data in both basic neuroscience and preclinical CNS drug development. The Mini10k enables researchers to capture neural activity at the scale that modern neuroscience questions demand.

Uniqueness
No existing platform combines this scale of neural imaging with full behavioral freedom, opening experimental possibilities that were previously out of reach.
